A quick disclaimer: This is the CRC variant of the Aegis Boost III that is designated to be sold in Canada. The global variant of any CRC vape device may have slight differences, such as a larger e-liquid capacity or a different pod/coil setup, but the usability and operation of device will mostly remain identical.

Included in the packaging is the standard assortment of Aegis Boost accessories to get you started. Along with the usual user manual and warranty documentation, you'll receive USB Type-C charging cable, a spare coil for the Boost III Pod, a replacement rubber o-ring, and a tank wrench to help you remove the coil when it's time for a replacement.

The Boost III adds a few new features to the already popular rugged vaping kit. here's where we'll look at some of those features and answer a few common questions about the device. Keep in mind, the additional features mentioned are extras on top of the already robust Aegis device features, like it's IP68 water, dust, and crush resistance rating.
How to lock and unlock the Geekvape Aegis Boost 3
The Aegis Boost III vape features a groundbreaking biosensing technology embedded in the rear of the device, automatically detecting human touch, enabling you to grasp and unlock your Boost 3 with ease.
The coolest part about this new feature is that it works without any additional effort from the vapers end, and we'll add that it actually does a pretty impressive job keeping the entire process automatic. We tested it with dry and wet hands and ran into zero issues with the device unlocking correctly.
The device is locked in its default state. Holding the device, we can carefully position out hands to not be touching the biosensing back of the device.
Additionally, the Aegis Boost 3 introduces a fire locking feature that can be enabled from the menu. This feature should be enabled if you're concerned about accidental activation while not in use.

Clicking the fire button 3 times gets you to the menu of the Aegis Boost 3. The wattage adjustment buttons can be used to navigate up and down the menu, with the fire button acting as the select button.
Choosing "color" from the menu will allow you to change the devices UI theme to one of 5 colours.
Geekvape Aegis Boost 3: How to turn on Fire Lock settings
Just about every vape on the market has some sort of locking mechanism. Some brands go the route of locking only the wattage adjustment buttons so they don't accidentally change in your pocket. The "lock" setting from other brands might lock down the entire device, meaning you can't adjust the wattage OR fire the vape at all until it's unlocked.
While both of these options are acceptable in their own uses, vapers have been long asking for the ability to decide how the device locks for themselves. It doesn't seem like a huge feature, but this can be a make or break decision when you need a specific setup.
Geekvape, true to their innovative style, now allows vapers to customize the lock settings.
Why has it taken so long for a brand to implement this feature? We aren't sure, but for us, and for many vapers in Canada, it's a welcome addition.

Geekvape's Boost 3 pods are hefty in their own right. The coil sits tight in the pod and gives you the feeling that it won't pop out or lose connection at random. The tolerances on the Geekvape Aegis Boost replacement coils are very tight, and will often require the use of a removal tool when changing coils.
Geekvape includes a coil wrench in the packaging for the Boost 3. It lines up perfectly with the flush edges of the Boost coil, and gives you some leverage when trying to pull the coil up.
Inserting a new coil is not nearly as complex, just align the two flat edges with the corresponding sides at the bottom of your Boost 3 pod and press into the pod so that the o-rings on the coil sit flush.
